These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BinPing website and reminder service operated by BinPing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 14829112).
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use BinPing.
2. The service
BinPing provides bin collection reminders via email and optional SMS. We source collection schedules from local authority partnerships and send you a notification before your scheduled collection.

3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per household is sufficient, though you may add multiple addresses.

4. Free and paid plans
Email reminders are provided free of charge with no time limit. SMS reminders are available for £0.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your SMS subscription at any time.

5. Accuracy and liability
While we make every reasonable effort to ensure collection schedules are accurate, BinPing is a reminder service and not a guarantee. Council schedules may change at short notice due to bank holidays, severe weather, or operational issues.
BinPing shall not be held liable for any missed collections, fines, or other consequences arising from inaccurate or delayed reminders. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the fees you have paid to us in the preceding 12 months.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use BinPing for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to interfere with the service for other users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and software comprising BinPing are owned by BinPing Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time via your dashboard settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible.
Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
